Flo Health Assistant is an interactive dialogue tool that provides educational information. Our advanced chats are designed to help you better understand your body and the impact your cycle can have on your mood, energy, skin, fitness levels, and more.
Tap on the Messages tab to find cycle-related topics to discuss with our Virtual Assistant or finish the dialogues you’ve started earlier. For more conversations about mental health, cramps, or sex, tap on the pen icon in the top right corner — you will see multiple prompts to start a new chat.
New dialogues may be offered when a new cycle phase starts or when you log certain symptoms and events in Flo. Some dialogues are regular. For example, when a new cycle starts, you’ll receive an extensive cycle report.
When a new dialogue is available, you’ll get a pop-up message or a new story on the main screen. If you can’t finish the dialogue at that time, you can go back to it in your stories later that day. You can also find the record of a finished dialogue in the same story on that day. Please note that some chats disappear when you remove the symptoms, when your cycle is adjusted, and when they’re no longer relevant, while other chats disappear after 24 hours.
The answers that you’ve already provided in the conversation can’t be changed. If you use Flo on iOS, you can also delete the chat. To do that, open the Messages tab and swipe left on the chat you want to remove. A red button will appear to delete it — click on it to confirm.
Many health and well-being issues are preventable and manageable with early detection, but they can be difficult to diagnose. Our Health Assistant also includes tools to help you get information on early signs of disorders and shares possible reasons for a late period and lower abdominal pain so you can proactively monitor your health. The automated reasoning behind the chatbot’s feedback is based on the latest medical evidence and checked by medical specialists. Chat with our Health Assistant for personalized information on your health.
Please note that the information provided in the dialogues is not intended or implied to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
