We suggest starting by logging the dates of your next period. To do this, tap the pink Log Period button for the required day on the main screen. The number of days indicated in Menu > Cycle and Ovulation will be marked as your period.
To edit your period dates, tap the month in the top right corner and tap Edit Period Dates. Then check the required dates and save.
When you scroll to the next month, you’ll see days marked with different colors:
- Predicted period days are marked in red.
- Predicted fertile days are marked in teal. A day that is inside a teal dotted circle is your predicted ovulation day – and it says High chance of getting pregnant. A few days before ovulation and a couple of days after are days marked as Chance to get pregnant. To make these predictions, the app considers various parameters, such as the sperm can survive for up to five days in a woman’s body, and your egg can survive for 24 hours. It tries to keep the fertile window as wide as possible to include all possibilities.
- The days that are black (after the ovulation and before the next period) have a low chance of pregnancy. However, the chance of getting pregnant still exists even during the low-chance phase, as your cycle may shift for a variety of reasons.
For the current and past days, it’s also possible to add symptoms and events via the ‘+’ button. The more symptoms you enter, the more precise predictions you will receive.
Please, note that the app is not intended to serve as a method of birth control or contraception.
