Your last 12 logged cycles will affect your cycle predictions. This means that if you take a break from tracking your cycles, a large gap will appear in the calendar. Rest assured, cycles longer than 90 days or cycles that occurred more than a year ago will not be taken into account. However, if you do notice that the gap is affecting your future cycle, there are two ways to change it:
- Remove period dates you’ve entered before the gap
Go to Calendar > “Edit period dates” > Uncheck all periods you’ve entered before. This way, your predictions will be based on the current cycle.
- Reset your account
If you wish to start tracking anew, you can reset your data: How do I reset my Flo account? This will completely remove all your data and the account.
- Enter more data
If this or previous cycles are important to you, you can add more data to improve the accuracy of your predictions: track basal body temperature, log ovulation test results, and/or log ovulation manually. This information is prioritized for ovulation predictions.
