What’s included in the free version?

Here at Flo, we strive to help women put themselves first, providing you with accurate, easy-to-use health tracking and cycle prediction, along with evidence-based health and well-being content and a supportive community. Our team of more than 350 employees and over 80 health and medical experts are constantly working to personalize Flo for you and make the app even more useful and accurate. Although Flo’s business model is subscription-based, our core features are available to everyone, regardless of whether or not you subscribe. 

The free version offers:

• Period and ovulation predictions
  After you add your period dates to the app, Flo will start making predictions for your next period, ovulation, and fertile days. All predictions are marked with different colors in the app. Flo uses a set of complex algorithms to make these predictions. They’re AI-driven and take your user settings and cycle history into consideration. To improve Flo’s predictions, we suggest you add your periods for the last 12 months or at least the last 3 cycles.
  
• 80+ symptoms to track
  Flo is more than a period tracker. It can also be a place to track your health and well-being. That’s why Flo offers 16 trackers with 80+ symptoms and events to log. Tracking your symptoms can give you an overview of how your condition changes throughout your cycle. Sometimes it reveals patterns. It can also be helpful during medical appointments. Plus, Flo takes your logged symptoms into consideration when making predictions and uses them to personalize your journey in the app by adding stories and dialogs that are relevant to how you’re feeling.
  
• Custom reminders
  Flo can remind you when your period is about to start or when you’re likely to ovulate. It will also be helpful for users on birth control, taking medication, or seeking to build a new habit (e.g., drinking more water).
  
• Basic health insights
  Our team of health experts ensures that we deliver the most up-to-date, relevant, and high-quality content. Although most content in the app is a part of Flo Premium, important topics such as medical conditions or fetal development are available to our users in the free version.
  
• Secret Chats
  Flo Secret Chats is a safe digital environment where users can anonymously discuss a variety of topics and get support from millions of other Flo users worldwide. Flo Secret Chats is a great space to share personal stories and opinions and ultimately gain a broader sense of what other users like you experience. Our wish is that our users find support and useful information and have fun along the way.
