If you logged at least one period in Flo, it will be able to make predictions about the start of the next period, your ovulation day, fertile days, and if you don’t get your period, the app will show a delay.
All predictions are shown on the main screen and in the calendar. The circle on the main screen first displays the countdown to ovulation, and after ovulation it counts down to your period. It also predicts your fertility (chance to get pregnant) each day. Pink is used for periods, teal for ovulation and fertile days, and grey indicates a period delay.
You can switch between days by swiping the circle and between weeks by swiping the dates above the circle. To see monthly and yearly data, navigate to the calendar. If you would like your cycle days to be displayed, you can enable the feature by going to Menu - Cycle and Ovulation.
Every day, you’ll receive a cycle story that covers what’s happening in your body and what you might experience that day.
To improve Flo’s predictions, we suggest you add your periods for the last 12 months, or at least the last three cycles. You can log them in the calendar. If you don’t know this information or your period has just started, that’s also fine. Flo will just need more time to adjust its predictions. If you’re planning pregnancy and would like to have more accurate ovulation predictions, we suggest you log ovulation test results in Flo.
Although knowing your future period dates is important, you might also need information about your previous cycles. By scrolling through the main screen, you’ll be able to see widgets that provide analytics of your last cycle and show your cycle history.
