If you’re able to send a Flo for Partners pairing code, it means that you’ve created a “main user” account instead of a partner account. How you fix this depends on whether you’ve already logged data:
Option 1: You haven’t logged any cycle data yet
The quickest fix is to delete this account and start fresh (let us know if you need help with this).
- Delete the account and reopen the Flo app.
- Have the main user open Flo on her device, tap the Partner tab at the bottom of the screen, and send you a pairing code.
- On your device, complete the first onboarding questions > Select “No, I have a partner code” > Enter the pairing code that your partner has shared with you.
Option 2: You’ve already logged a lot of cycle data
If you have logged a significant amount of cycle data on the main Flo user account and have been using it for a while instead of the person whose cycle it was, do not delete it. Instead, use the email change instructions to transfer the account to her. Once she has access, you can create a brand-new partner account for yourself.
If you have previously purchased a subscription through the App Store or Google Play, please note that it is tied to your Google/Apple accounts rather than to a specific Flo account. If you’re using the same Google/Apple account that you used to make a purchase and have an active subscription, all accounts you create in Flo will be Premium.
